They Say That Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

But apparently it's easier than having a comic creator leave a book, as Newsarama's VocalRiot points out.

This is the worst news I've heard since my girlfriend of two years broke up with me a week ago. I am so sad. Damn.

Long live the Flash. God bless Geoff Johns.

It's okay when it involves people in spandex

As posters at newsarama react to the group editor of DC's manga imprint leaving, one poster puts DC's editing of Tenjho Tenge into perspective:

I'd totally forgotten that DC had a manga imprint. Then I remembered that there was that controversy about them editing a rape scene in one of the books. Then I remembered that when I'd originally read about the controversy, I wondered why they didn't just have Rags Morales draw Doctor Light into those panels, since that seems to work for the mainstream DCU. Then I forgot again that DC had a manga imprint. - Robot H Brian

I wonder how Grant Morrison feels about Doom Patrol

John Byrne on Miracleman:

...with fond memories of MarvelMan behind me, I did not much care for Moore's take on the character. The "everything you know is a lie" approach is a card that should be played with great caution, and usually works best as a story arc, with all things restored at the end, rather than as a "big reveal".

Poster ali-sama "need favor" and figures there's no better place to ask this than on the Pro colorist forums:

i need to deliver a letter to a cast member in smallville. if any of you have connections and would like to help. Please contact me.

After all, we all know, those digital artists are always rubbing shoulders with Hollywood.
